2 1 Introduction to Psychology Other than Modules Major Elective 3 Introduction to Psychology is designed to learn basic psychological concepts and principles for understanding human psychology and behavior. The students will learn major psychological concepts and applications, including basic biological behavior, sensation and perception, learning, memory, language processing, development, personality, intelligence, and psychopathology. In this course, students will understand history of psychology, the latest development trend, and basic concepts for counseling psychology.
2 1 Developmental Psychology Basic Psychology Major Elective 3 Developmental Psychology observes changes that occur throughout life by studying essence of development, developmental theory, developmental study trend, and development from pregnancy to death. This course covers characteristics of human development stages (prenatal period to old age) and human development areas (body, cognition, language, emotion, social skills, morality, etc.), and observes controversies in developmental psychology for comprehensive understanding on development. In this course, students will learn academic knowledge on development and look back on oneself, others, and humanity to live mature life.
2 1 Personality Psychology Basic Psychology Major Elective 3 Personality Psychology explores individuals’ unique ways of adapting to environment. This course explores human personality-related theories, examines basic concepts on personally structure and development, and aims to understand human behavior and psychology from different aspects. In this course, students will understand main personality theories and human personality, development, and structure of personality.
2 1 Clinical Psychology Clinical Psychology Major Elective 3 Clinical Psychology is a part of Applied Psychology. The clinical psychologists are involved in following matters : 1. Study causes of psychological pain and mental disorders. 2. Use psychological test tools to assess and diagnose mental disorders precisely. 3. Conduct therapies to alleviate psychological pain and promote happiness and growth. In this course, students will learn the academic characteristics of clinical psychology that covers research, assessment, and treatment of mental disorder. The students will also understand functions and roles of clinical psychologists and examine future and prospect of clinical psychology. This course also aims to help students explore clinical psychology-related career.
2 1 Counseling Psychology Counseling Psychology Major Elective 3 Counseling Psychology is a part of Applied Psychology, and it focuses on application and practice of human developmental tasks, adaptation, and functions. This course mainly covers counseling-related theories, and students will learn basic counseling knowledge and techniques by learning philosophical background of theory, human view, developmental process, and counseling process.
2 1 Introduction to Art Therapy Other than Modules Major Introduction 3 This course covers basic art therapy concepts, including art therapy definition, art therapy elements, art therapy history, art therapy stages, and related examples.
2 1 Media Research and Practice Art Therapy Major Elective 3 This course builds up field application skills by understanding therapeutic property of art media and exploring various of ways of utilizing them.
2 2 Social Psychology Basic Psychology Major Elective 3 Social Psychology covers how people perceive others and engage in relationship with others depending on social thinking, social influence, and social relationship. This course aims to teach various social psychological topics and actual human experience-related research.

2 2 Psychological Statistics and Research Method Basic Psychology Major Elective 3 To learn research method of social science and basic statistical principles to study statistical analysis method and research method applicable to overall psychological fields.
2 2 Abnormal Psychology Clinical Psychology Major Elective 3 Abnormal Psychology is a study of abnormal human behavior and mental disorder. This course covers introduction to abnormal psychology, types of mental disorder, clinical symptom, cause, and treatment of clinical disorders.
2 2 Counseling Technique Counseling Practice Major Elective 3 In this course, students will learn counseling techniques based overall flow of counseling process. The students will also learn counseling attitudes and verbal and non-verbal responses by experiencing the process from forming and finishing the counseling relationship between counselor and counselee. The students will also learn knowledge related to the practice of counseling, such as case management and crisis intervention, to foster ability to apply them in actual fields.

2 2 Art Expression Technique Art Therapy Major Elective 3 This course focuses on exploring characteristics of various art media and expression techniques in art therapy from various angles.
3 1 Psychological Test Clinical Practice Major Elective 3 Psychological Test course covers various psychological tests used in diverse clinical and counseling fields. This course focuses on theoretical composition, execution, and interpretation of intelligence test, multiphasic personality test, temperament and character test among psychological tests.
3 1 Positive Psychology Clinical Psychology Major Elective 3 To learn scientific research method of human behavior’s positive aspects, such as strength and happiness, learn main research results, and learn way of applying them to human life.
3 1 Group Counseling Counseling Practice Major Elective 3 This course covers theory and practice of group counseling. In this course, students will understand and apply group counseling format, structure, developmental process, approach method, main concepts, therapeutic factors, and type of techniques.

3 1 Group Art Therapy Art Therapy Major Elective 3 To learn group dynamics and operation method of group art therapy based on group art therapy-related theories and development practice. The students will work on group art therapy practice to foster actual group operation skills and qualities as a group art therapist.
3 2 Neuropsychology Clinical Practice Major Elective 3 Neuropsychology covers fundamental neuropsychology, neurological basis of mental function, and main phenomenon. To introduce nervous system to students, this course covers main brain structure, neuronal communication, and characteristics of hemisphere. The students will learn neuropsychological basis, including attention, image, spatial processing, and execution function. The students will also understand plasticity and reserves to explore human mind and mental function better. The students can also learn the practice of neuropsychological evaluation based on neuropsychology theories.

3 2 Play Therapy Play Therapy Major Elective 3 In this course, students will learn therapeuticeffect of play and learn various theories of art therapy as psychological counseling method. The students will also understand characteristics of each theory and learn and utilize various play therapy approaches based on these theories to understand psychological and social difficulties of counselees. The students will also establish the basics of play therapy to assist effective growth.
3 2 Technology-Based Psychological Evaluation Psychological Evaluation and Counseling Intervention Major Elective 3 To learn psychological areas applied with virtual reality technologies and biosignal measurement methods to foster psychological diagnosis skills using the latest technologies.
3 2 Art Rehabilitation of Children with Disability Art and Psychological Rehabilitation Major Elective 3 To understand characteristics of each disability and learn educational and therapeutic approach for each characteristic. The students will be able to understand and make art therapy techniques and programs, and actually apply them through actual practice.
3 2 Youth Art Therapy Children and Youth Art Therapy Major Elective 3 To explore youth developmental psychology characteristics, problems found in adolescence, and theories of psychopathology to study process of youth art therapy and actual art therapy-based approaches.
3 2 Art and Psychology Diagnosis and Evaluation Art Therapy Major Elective 3 To learn practice methods and interpretation standards in drawing diagnosis and art therapy techniques, and to study and analyze the individual psychological characteristics found in drawing.
4 1 Career and Vocational Counseling Counseling Psychology Major Elective 3 This course covers main theories related to career counseling and vocational psychology, and it aims to foster practical career counseling skills for assisting career development of the counselee. In this course, students will learn basic theories and main concepts of career and vocational counseling to understand their career development, analyze career problems of counselee, and establish counseling plans.

4 1 Art and Psychological Rehabilitation Practice Art and Psychological Rehabilitation Major Elective 3 This course is designed to foster art therapists with professional and practical skills through various clinical and case management methods and clinical experience in clinical art therapy fields. The students must complete at least 100 hours of clinical practice and method. Provided, practice for children with disability shall be over 40 hours. The field practice shall be conducted under supervision of art therapists.

In this course, students will apply theoretical art therapy knowledge on actual clinical fields, and conduct supervision based on practical examples.
