I am Sangmin Lee, the dean of Department of Healthcare Convergence, College of Future Convergence, CHA University.

The Department of Healthcare Convergence consists of six majors including Healthcare Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Business Administration, Digital Healthcare, Media and Communication, Sports Medicine, and Psychology. The Department of Healthcare Convergence is the only department in Korea that fosters creative talents who come up with innovative ideas and creative solutions through convergence of various academic fields such as medicine, engineering, management, and humanities.

Especially, the Department of Healthcare Convergence offers an environment where students can learn and research various fields such as data analysis, innovative technologies, and humanities, which play an important role in the bio and healthcare fields. Our department also provides innovative education and practical experience to meet various student demands. The high-tech facilities and educational infrastructure will foster creativity and problem-solving skills of students and will hugely contribute to fostering the new leaders in the healthcare field.

The Department of Healthcare Convergence closely cooperates with industrial fields, including CHA Hospital Group, to help students explore the future career effectively and take advantages in finding jobs. The department offers practical education and industry-academia cooperation programs to grant the students opportunity to experience and learn directly at the actual field.

Our goal is to foster the new leaders in healthcare field and produce talents who can contribute to Korean and global healthcare field.
